Hey up there, i've put together a demos page for my, er, demos. Map09 of my megawad is half done i just want to make it a bit more involved and harder now that i'm getting towards half way through the levels

Cor blimey! i've been pluggin away at map08 for what seems like an eternity and have had terminal mapper's block. finally it came together after about 10 incarnations. it's dark and smelly and there are a couple of screens for your viewing pleasure here and here.

I've also contributed a map to the 1024 project over at doomworld here and here are a couple of screens from that map

Hello, just letting you all know that i'm still here. map07 is done and map08 is underway. map07 uses the "dead simple" format in some respects and also is the first level of the second episode, starting the player off in darkened sludge filled sewers... nice! anyway, the reason i've been so damned busy over the past few months is that i've been having a lot to sort out since finding out that my better half is pregnant! i'm spawning a mini doomer to replace myself. bwuhahahahaha! but apart from frantically refurbishing my kitchen i've got a new job which means i should bizzarely have MORE time to work on this megawad from now on!

just a progress update, the detailing of the frst episode has come along well a major part of which has been the reworking of map03, which now has an extra building and a reworked blue-key set-piece. there are now 5 structures of various heights and styles in one open outdoor area with no sky-cropping! this map is gonna be referred to loads in the doomworld forums when new mappers ask about how to do certain things (without eternity's portal's, that is :-)

map05 is on the brink of completion and map06 is also very close, with just the final touches needed. map06 is the first boss arena (before the first intermission text) and rounds out "episode 1", the E1 feel extends somewhat to the enemies faced and the weapons available though clearly not the architecture! once i'm happy with the tricks and traps i'll be going over them all to sync the architecture etc. map04 is the most complete in this regard (it has funky vine-laden gardens and the occasional marble plinth, y'know)

I've also decided that this megawad will definatley only be 20 maps, episode 2 being maps 7 through 11 and episode 3 being 12 to 20, again using the intermission texts to define the break in style. however the 3rd episode will feature a 4 map psudeo-hub centered around 3 arenas (mucho monster surprises!) so that might count as an episode of it's own, in a way.

map04 of project K is done to an extent that i am happy. work on map05 is underway and it will closely by intergrated with map06 in that, map06 being the final map of the first "episode" it will be arena-like (i.e. boss map) and map05 concerns getting into the arena and wraps around it to a certain extent.
